The purpose of this course is to prepare students to successfully complete the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified EKG Technician exam. This 65 hour course instructs the individual to setup and complete an EKG on a patient. Upon course completion the student will know how to set up and administer EKGs (electrocardiograms) and stress tests, prepare patients for Holter or ambulatory monitoring, and edit and deliver final test results to physicians for analysis.
